I’ll never forget my mom had one of these briefly in the 90's. It was bright red. they called her and my aunt the Toyota Girls because my mom had a Paseo and my aunt had a Tercel.

I think you’ll find that, as is tradition for the average American buyer, they bought the automatic so they could just cruise with it rather than attempt to drive it in a spirited manner.
